As members of the Wish Alliance, we had the opportunity to spend three inspiring days in Estonian Tallinn, hosted by Minu Unistuste Päev — an organisation that places strong emphasis on community, volunteers, and a happy experience as a tool to support mental health and resilience of seriously ill children.

During the internship, Minu Unistuste Päev introduced us to their Dream Day concept, their system of cooperation with volunteers and Estonian hospitals, Family Day as a powerful tool for community building and brand awareness, and their fundraising approach. We also opened important discussions within the alliance — from a potential Membership Agreement to shared outputs such as leaflets, video content, and an upcoming conference focused on wish-granting and its impact.
The programme combined professional exchange with unforgettable shared experiences a candle-making workshop, a walk through Tallinn’s Old Town, winter swimming and sauna and even a curling game with the Minu Unistuste Päev volunteer team 🥌.
A huge thank you to Minu Unistuste Päev for the warm welcome, openness, and generosity in sharing your know-how — and for reminding us that learning together also means experiencing things together.
